Dunmaris

A real MMORPG, made for your phone.

Hunt with friends, earn every level and take the deep places together. In your browser or on iPhone.

In early testing · plays in the browser and on iPhone

Played with one hand

Dunmaris is made for the phone in your hand. Everything a hunt needs is within reach of one hand, and the chores of a fight look after themselves.

  1. Drag to walk

Put your thumb down anywhere on the world and drag: a stick appears under it and you walk that way. Or tap a tile, and you walk to the spot.

  2. Auto-target and follow

Switch on auto-target once, and whenever nothing is targeted you pick the nearest monster by yourself. Auto-follow keeps you on its heels, so a hunt needs no taps.

  3. Triggers

Open your shortcuts, tap a potion or a healing spell and set the line. It is used by itself whenever your health drops below it.

Choose your hunt

Three paths. You choose one on the Isle of Choosing, from its mentors, and you keep it.

  • A knight with a sword and shield fighting rats in the fields

Knight

Stands in front and takes the hits.

  • Excels at melee and defending
  • Health regenerates fast, mana slowly, and there are fewer spells
Hunt as a Knight
  • A hunting party with bows drawn at the mouth of a dragon lair

Ranger

Fights from a distance and keeps moving.

  • Excels at distance fighting, and can conjure its own arrows
  • Health and mana regenerate at a steady pace, with a fair choice of spells
Hunt as a Ranger
  • A mage in a dark limestone cave among glowing fungus

Mage

Calls down lightning, heals and throws runes.

  • Excels at magic, from spells and runes to the wand
  • Mana regenerates fast, health slowly, and there are plenty of spells
Hunt as a Mage

Demo hunts are being built: a ready hunt for each vocation, no account needed. Until they open, these take you into the game itself.

What you wear, everyone sees

Every helmet, armour, shield and weapon you put on shows on your character, and each land dresses its own way: a corsair's tricorn, a jarl's helmet, a druid's robe.

Five players side by side, each dressed in the gear of a different land: a corsair's tricorn and coat, plate, a jarl's helmet and fur cloak, a leaf circlet and briar mail, a feathered headdress and jaguar cloak

Wear your spoils

The rarest pieces come from the hardest fights, and they look it. Wear them into town and everyone you pass sees what you have won.

  • Sovereign plate, gilded, with a crimson cape to the calves, under a plumed helm
  • Fragarach, the blade from the dragons' mountain
  • The archmage's hat, tall and drooping, over a starred tunic and an indigo cape
  • The archmage's ward and a wand tipped with a glowing crystal

Across the sea

Captain Bren sails to every one of them from the pier of Varnhold, the home island.

The Isle of Choosing is waiting.

Every character starts there and chooses a path from its mentors before it crosses to Varnhold.
